This product is a seat protector, not a crash-tested pet restraint.

Spread the hammock across the back seat and attach the straps securely around the front and rear headrests. Position the seat anchors and side panels according to the installation instructions.
Always secure your dog using a suitable vehicle restraint attached to the car’s approved restraint point—not to the hammock itself.
